the problem with streaming isnt greed. 10$ a month isnt profitable. 100$ a month makes more sense.

as for ai, no one seemingly remembers this, but we had the same "ai revolution" in 2013, then flickr (the photo site) got ruined, nowadays it says "last group message 12 years ago".

we also had it in 1997, then altavista (the searchengine most used) sold out to adult advertisers. whatever you searched on had banner ads at top, with no relevance whatsoever. i pretty much quit surfing then.

also, then many sites, messageboards, usenet, email addresses (ISPs sold your address to spammers), got overswamped with the same ai trash, "make 10000$ a month doing nothing" as we get now.

and yes, i also love ai. especially music and image generation. if i search for even a simple term on google images, the results will just be dull. if i use an image generator, i get amazing results. sometimes it literally reads your soul. i write all day, then all of a sudden i think "hmm, could this turn into a song" (literally, i could use ai on this text), and i chose one of the recommended styles, and... wow? genres ive never heard of. over and over again.

i call this personal music. personal art. personal (adult...) entertainment (i think you know what i mean).

i even had a dream years ago about this. i woke up in some cavern area, when i had eaten breakfast, the ai had already made a magazine inspired by the dreams id had. we could literally have a computer game made when we come home from work, made from dreams or thoughts we had during the day / week.
