yes, on this album i covered "man in finance" i think 3 times. not to reap in its success, but just to satirize the sheer sloppiness of the lyrics. before, i could literally write 10 of those per day (or really, just chop up 1 single lyric into 100 different parts, and it would still surpass it). anyway, this all culminated in "la belle epoque",

where i wrote lyric after lyric in my own style, epic cosmic ballads (they say it reminds of farsi poetry). now ive sort of returned to it on the new album, eventhough it contains no epics, no cosmic parts, and they arent ballads, more like the opposite, creative hatemails if anything.
