people have forgotten what mmorpg means

Dont.jpg

dont be a mule
dont be a banksitter
dont be a cookie cutter
dont be a twink
dont be a mage pk
dont be a dragon tamer
be yourself
everyone else
already exists

uo pvp and outlands is the same
as when the game got released almost.

in outlands youll often find 2 mage pks,
the spells, as i hate magery,

seems to be explo + mindblast x2,
this does 30*4 dmg even
with high resisting spells,

so takes down almost anyone
as soon as you see the
red names on your screen.

its silly unbalanced.
even with just 1 mage.
im sure if they balanced it
people would just gang up in 4s.

magery has hiding, aka invisiblity,
taming, summoning,
making food, cooking,
so many other things, just for free.

even ranged attacks
its much better and more
powerful than archery.

the op factor is just silly.
when i mentioned this as a
suggestion one guy said
"best one id ever heard",
but then others chimed
in the dark side with
"then people would have
to remake their builds".
yeah, so bothersome to
start with magery skills at 60,
level them to 80 in newbie dungeon
then afk for a day and
get gm or higher.
would take no time at all.

anyway, ive started 2
ironman characters.

i choose only useless
skills and stats
like 80 int, 80 str, 25 dex
so it should be challenging.

on my boxer i
barely managed
to master a bird.

after that i found a nice
place with 6 bird spawns.

after 50 of those kills my
combat one skills
were already in the 50s.

im evolving him,
but the vendor scene
is really offputting,
they only have whats popular.

can barely find low level
or iron items on them.

i also have a poisoner pk and
poisoned weapons arent
easy to find either.

my second ironman is a fisher.
i started the game by begging to
afford a horse and fishing rod.

then i noticed
you can get a
crew member at
80 begging.

will take a long
time to level.

anyway, rpg means you
roleplay a unique character,
you shouldnt be a cookie cutter.

mmo means you interact with others,
not just to twink and be
twinked and level easily.

actually to talk to them,
to be "in character" and do
something interesting
