Qc
of all the ai music whinosauruses
i havent seen anyone explain the suno sound
the music i have no complaints about
and it adds passion, emotions, variation, pauses
and more to the vocals, depending on what
lyrics you add. otherwise its cheezy rhyme
if you dont write them yourself. so do that.
or just copyleft writings, or just steal
whatever you want since copyright is dead
anyway. anyway, what i wanted to mention
is the quality of the vocals. rather, the
bitrate. now vhs is 16bit, old soundcards
could only support 8bit, but this sounds
worse, not quite sure, maybe its 6bit
or even 4bit. i guess this has to do with
training the data on stolen mp3s. that
wouldnt explain why the music sounds so
good though, i guess theyre just training
us to accept enshittification. anyway, the
sound of the vocals are like a badly
configured vocoder, metallic. even worse
than the mp3 compression they do to it
as well. that affects the music part
actually more. so then theyve gone full
circle, both shit production and shit vocals.
the funny part, just like 128kbps vhs mp3
you get used to shit quality. i mean, people
experimenting with "at what bitrate dont i
notice the difference", is like experimeting
with putting shit, or diarrhea in your coffee
to see at what "ratio" you dont notice its shit
in your fucking coffee. its just fucked up. it
should be genuine. coffee should be coffee. audio
should be 16bit at the very least, since we have
64-bit operating systems, not at least working in
64bit float is a shame to the processing and storage
capacity we have nowadays. you know whats weird?
12 years ago, i bought a comp that had 8gb memory
and 500gb harddrive. now for the same price i get
4gb memory and a 50gb solid state drive. i understand
that the second one might cost some more, but i doubt
it after so long time. and the ram? theres just no excuse.
for the same price, and less storage space, we should be
getting 256gb of ram and 20tb harddrives. but what would
we ever fit with that, and how strong ai could we use
on a consumer grade pc? the wouldnt allow that.
something strange, like the universe stores things in it.
is that to this day, cpus barely go beyond 2^32, that is
4.3 billion, or 4.3 gigahertz, even this comp is only
2.8ghz or so. there seems to be no imrpovement in this
area over such a long time. have we hit the limit of
the universe? still, as ive written of before, 2^5000
quantum computer processing power doesnt cost much more
than a couple 10k$s but theyre lying about it.
