Release

when i release an album i do it on dvd covers. you just need an a4 printer for it to work. printing on both sides. you cut out a couple of centimeters and then it fits. it also fits a small booklet inside i print from japanphoto on 26 pages, and a folded a3 poster! you can also have 2 cds in it if you find the right case. i buy em on second hand stores, the things ive bought online havent been any good.

i also did one of my first releases on mini cd. not minidisc. you could even buy ones back in the days with lightscribe. i did a booklet for it as well. fit about 25 mins on it. in japan they even got portable mini cd players. but when the industry shifted to maxi cd singles with 30-40 min length and 6-8 tracks most artists stopped releasing on it. id recommend this instead of minidisc since its lossless. and if you got an old comp with lightscribe capability its real cool.
