Why would anyone care about ai in its sorry state

but seriously, why would anyone care about AI at all in its sorry state? i try asking it questions, and it bombards me with a full A4 page with generic bullshit? i have to ask it like 10-20 times and wade through huge amount of trash to get a simple answer?

i quickly went back to google. i write a simple query, change it a few times, scroll down quickly looking at search results, and in less than a minute i got my insight. ghibli photos to cartoons? this is revolutionary? its just a gimick. like slo mo video or lens flare filter like in the 90s.
